Evelyn S. Berwick M.D. graduated Suma Cum Laude at the University of Pittsburgh. She then turned into an archetype - someone who sets the standard for others to model. Her credentials are impressive and she is a valued member of the city of Pittsburgh. 

   During her 28 year tenure (1977-2005) at Allegheny General Hospital Dr. Berwick was responsible for tens of thousands of: patient admissions; referrals to Dr. Specialists; and referrals for performing every type of laboratory and medical service.

   Dr Berwick is admired and loved by her patients, friends, and colleagues. She operated two medical satellite offices, a Licensed in-house medical Laboratory (since 1983) and made many hundreds of house calls in the greater Pittsburgh area. She tended to the nursing homes listed below and provided extensive PRO-BONO medical care to the poor, elderly, unemployed, homeless, helpless, hopeless, schools, clergy, etc. In addition to her monumental contribution,  she maintained all of the Continuing Medical Education credit requirements every year.

   For nearly 30 years Dr. Berwick performed (conservatively) over a half million successful doctor to patient encounters with no malpractice cases lodged and judged against her in a court of law. By any standard, Dr. Berwick's keen knowledge, years of experience and humble manner are tremendous assets to the medical institutions and patient care facilities around Pittsburgh.
